The slums in Rio require a lot more than just ”investments”.

I swear I would say that the slums of Rio could be ”eliminated” in the same way as happens in São Paulo city.

Unfortunately, lots of slums of Rio are reflective of the end of slavery and today is one of the greatest examples of social exclusion in Brazil.
